Terms & Conditions

Effective November 3, 2026 Operated by YKAM LLC, a Florida limited liability company

The agreement that covers your use of Next Chapter Retirement, including our educational content, the free review, and calls, texts and emails.

1Agreement and what the service is

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and YKAM LLC, a Florida limited liability company that operates Next Chapter Retirement ("YKAM," "we," "us"). They govern nextchapterretirement.com, its landing pages and forms, our social media pages and lead forms, and our calls, texts and emails (the "Service").

Please read Section 8 carefully. It requires individual arbitration and waives class actions and jury trials, unless you opt out within 30 days.

Eligibility. You must be at least 18, a U.S. resident, and able to form a binding contract. By using the Service or submitting a form, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

What the Service is. Next Chapter Retirement provides general educational information about retirement income, 401(k) rollovers and annuities, and connects people who ask for it with licensed insurance agents for a free review.

What the Service is not

  • We are not an insurance company. We do not issue, underwrite or guarantee annuities or any insurance product.
  • We are not a bank, broker-dealer, registered investment adviser, tax preparer or law firm.
  • We do not give personalized financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and no fiduciary relationship is created by using the Service.
  • We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for any government agency, including the Social Security Administration, IRS, Department of Labor or Medicare, or any employer or 401(k) plan.
  • Insurance company names and logos are trademarks of their owners and do not imply endorsement of or affiliation with us.

Licensed agent. Next Chapter Retirement's reviews and calls are led by Yadel Karim Abou Hadour Menendez, a licensed insurance agent in Florida (Florida Department of Financial Services License #G394102). You can verify this license at myfloridacfo.com/division/agents. For residents of other states, reviews are conducted only by network agents licensed in that state.

2Educational content and product disclosures

For education only. Everything on the Service is general information, not a recommendation for you. It does not consider your goals, finances, taxes or risk tolerance. Examples, figures and illustrations are hypothetical, not guaranteed, and do not predict any result. Product features, rates and availability vary by insurer and state and can change. Before acting, talk with a licensed professional who knows your situation.

About annuities

  • Annuities are insurance contracts issued by insurance companies. They are not bank deposits, are not FDIC- or NCUA-insured, and are not insured by any federal government agency.
  • Guarantees, if any, are backed solely by the financial strength and claims-paying ability of the issuing insurer.
  • Annuities are long-term products. Most have surrender charges for withdrawals above a set amount during the surrender period, and some have market value adjustments.
  • Withdrawals are taxed as ordinary income. Withdrawals before age 59½ may also incur a 10% federal tax penalty.
  • Optional riders usually cost an additional annual fee.
  • Fixed indexed annuities are not stock market investments and do not directly participate in any index. Interest credited may be limited by caps, participation rates or spreads.
  • Variable annuities and other securities are sold only by prospectus through registered representatives. We do not offer securities, and any mention of them is educational.

About rollovers. Moving money out of an employer plan is a significant decision. Plans, IRAs and annuities differ in fees, investment options, withdrawal rules, required minimum distributions, and protection from creditors. Rolling over may not be right for you. Compare all options, including leaving money in your plan, and consult a tax advisor.

Taxes and law. Nothing we publish is tax or legal advice. Tax rules change and depend on your situation.

3The free review and our agent network

Free and no obligation. The review is free. You are never required to buy anything, and you may end the conversation or cancel your appointment at any time.

Who conducts it. Reviews are conducted by insurance agents licensed in your state, including YKAM's own licensed agent (see Section 1) and up to 3 independent agents in our network. Network agents are independent businesses, not YKAM employees. Each agent is solely responsible for any advice, recommendation, product and suitability or best-interest determination they make, and must follow the laws of your state.

How we are paid. We are paid by agents or agencies for connecting them with people who request a review. If you buy a product, the agent is typically paid a commission by the insurer. These payments do not increase your premium or cost. You may ask any agent how they are compensated.

No guarantees. We do not guarantee that an agent will be available in your area or at a particular time, that you will qualify for or be offered any product, rate, bonus or feature, or that any product will meet your needs or achieve any result.

Products. Insurance products are issued by insurers, not by us, and are governed by the contract the insurer issues. Read the contract, disclosures and any buyer's guide before you sign. Most states give you a free-look period after purchase to cancel for a refund. The length is shown in your contract.

No gifts for meeting. We do not offer gifts, rewards or payment for booking or attending a review.

4Communications consent and text-message terms

Your consent. When you check the call-consent box and submit a form, you give prior express written consent for Next Chapter Retirement (YKAM LLC) and up to 3 licensed insurance agents or agencies to contact you at the number and email you provided about annuities and retirement-income insurance products. Calls may use automated dialing technology and artificial, prerecorded or AI-generated voices, even if your number is on a Do Not Call list. Your check mark and submission are your electronic signature.

Not a condition of purchase. You do not have to consent to buy any product. To request a review without consenting, call +1 (318) 494-8188.

Text-message program

  • The program is Next Chapter Retirement appointment and request updates.
  • Messages are sent only by Next Chapter Retirement. Agents do not text you under this consent.
  • Messages include confirmations, reminders, scheduling and follow-up about your request. Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP at any time to opt out. You will receive one confirmation and no further texts.
  • Reply HELP for help, or email [email protected].
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • Text consent is optional and separate from call consent.

Revoking consent. You may revoke any consent by any reasonable means, as described in our Privacy Policy. We process requests within 10 business days and notify agents who received your information.

Your number. You confirm the number you give is yours or that you are its regular user. You agree to tell us if it changes or is reassigned. You may not submit someone else's number.

5Your responsibilities

You agree to provide true, accurate and current information about yourself only, to be at least 18 and submit forms only for yourself, and to use the Service only for lawful, personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not do any of the following.

  • Submit another person's information, a fake identity, or consent you are not authorized to give.
  • Use bots, scripts, scrapers or other automated means to access, copy or submit forms.
  • Interfere with, overload or try to break the security of the Service.
  • Copy, resell or exploit any part of the Service or the information on it.
  • Use the Service to harass anyone, send spam, or break any law.

We may refuse, suspend or end access, and discard submissions, if we believe these Terms were broken or a submission is fraudulent.

Third-party links and content. The Service may link to insurers, agents, calculators, government sites or other resources we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products or privacy practices, and a link is not an endorsement.

6Intellectual property

The Service and its content, including text, articles, guides, graphics, logos, the Next Chapter Retirement name and design, and the site's look and layout, are owned by YKAM LLC or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark and other laws.

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view and use the Service for your own retirement education. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, modify, frame or create derivative works from any part of it without our written permission, except for sharing a link.

Third-party names and logos, including insurer names, belong to their owners. Their appearance does not imply endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation.

Feedback. If you send us suggestions, we may use them freely without obligation to you.

Copyright concerns. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email [email protected] with the work, its location on our site, your contact details and a statement of good-faith belief. We will review and respond.

7Disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity

Disclaimer. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components, or that content is complete or current.

Agents and insurers. We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, advice, recommendations, products or claims-paying ability of any independent agent, agency or insurer. Any dispute about a product or recommendation from an independent agent or insurer is between you and that agent or insurer.

Limitation of liability. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, YKAM LLC AND ITS OWNERS, EMPLOYEES AND CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, SAVINGS, INVESTMENT RETURNS OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE OR ANY PRODUCT YOU BUY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

Some states do not allow certain exclusions or limits, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud or willful misconduct.

Indemnity. You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless YKAM LLC and its owners, employees and contractors from claims, losses and costs, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising from false information you submit, information or consent you submit for someone else, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

8Disputes, arbitration and governing law

Talk to us first. Before filing any claim, email [email protected] with your name, contact details and a description of the dispute. We will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.

Binding individual arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, you and YKAM agree that any dispute arising from the Service, these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or any call, text or email, including claims under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and similar state laws, will be resolved by binding individual arbitration, not in court. Arbitration is administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. For claims under $10,000, we will pay the AAA filing and arbitrator fees beyond what you would pay to file in court. The arbitration may be held by video or in the county where you live.

Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either party may seek court relief for intellectual-property misuse.

Class action and jury waiver. YOU AND YKAM EACH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL AND TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS, COLLECTIVE OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. Claims may be brought only individually. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a claim, that claim goes to court, not to class arbitration.

30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] with the subject "Arbitration Opt-Out" and your name, email and phone within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.

Governing law and venue. Florida law governs these Terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any claim that goes to court will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

Time limit. To the extent the law allows, any claim must be brought within one year after it arises.

9Changes, general terms and contact

Changes. We may update these Terms by posting a new version with a new effective date. Material changes apply only going forward and will be highlighted on the site. Using the Service after a change means you accept it. Changes to Section 8 do not apply to a dispute we already know about.

Changes to the Service. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Service at any time.

Electronic communications. You agree that notices, disclosures and agreements we provide electronically satisfy any requirement that they be in writing.

Entire agreement. These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and YKAM about the Service.

Severability and waiver. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.

Assignment. You may not transfer these Terms. We may assign them in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.

Events beyond our control. We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control.
